Internet sensation, Sophie Grace Brownlee, will play Little Red Riding Hood in Disney's version of "Into The Woods" Entertainmentwise.com reported.
Lucas Brownlee, Sophie's uncle took to Twitter to announce the news.
"It's official, @Princesss SGB has landed the part of little red riding hood in the disney move in to the wood alongside jonny depp (sic), james corden, chris pine and meryl streep amongst others, out on boxing day 2014." Lucas then wrote "Let the cat out of the bag a bit early on that one."
The eight-year-old from Harlow in Essex, England quickly gained popularity and fame in the United States after a YouTube video, uploaded by members of her family showed her rapping to Nicki Minaj's song "Super Bass," went viral, according to entertainmentwise.com.
Brownlee's fame skyrocted when appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres" show where she got to meet Nicki Minaj herself.
Brownlee and one of her cousin's, Rosie, now regularly appear on the show, which ultimately led to her upcoming role on the silver screen, Entertainmentwise reported.
Brownlee will be the movie's main character as Disney remakes the award-winning play which is about a baker and his wife. Actor James Corden and english actress Emily Blunt are slated to perform the roles.
The storyline involves the two arranging with actress Meryl Streep, who will play an evil witch, to help them give birth to a baby.
According to Entertainmentwise.com, the two come across characters such as Little Red Riding Hood, the Big Bad Wolf, which is acted out by Depp, and Cinderella done by american singer and actress Anna Kendrick.
