CBS' longest-running crime show is nearing its end. Before the "CSI" finale movie airs this Sept. 27, however, Channel 5 will reportedly be treating fans to a night of nostalgia for the procedural series.

According to Digital Spy, "CSI" Night will be a way for loyal followers of the series to look back at the best episodes of its 15-year run.

Channel 5 will reportedly be re-broadcasting the series' pilot episode which aired in 2000. Viewers can also vote for their favorite episode to be aired during "CSI" Night until Sept. 14.

Although no specific date has been set, the special run will reportedly "celebrate" the beloved crime series before the "CSI" finale movie titled "Immortality" airs later this month.

The send-off feature will be bringing in the original cast members William Petersen (Gil Grissom), Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows), Melinda Clarke ( Lady Heather) with the newer set of crime scene investigators, Ted Danson (D.B. Russell), Elisabeth Harnois (Morgan Brody) and Wallace Langham (David Hodges).

Paul Guilfoyle (Jim Brass), David Berman (David Phillips), Robert David Hall (Dr. Al Robbins), and Eric Szmanda (Greg Sanders) will also join the rest of the cast in the upcoming TV film.

"I'm so glad we were able to do this, to go and be with the crew and the cast again, to be able to say goodbye," Petersen reportedly told EW about reprising his iconic role. "It was really a big to-do for us."

"The fans will get to see the people they really grew up with with that series," Danson also shared to Zap2It. "It's really honoring of the cast members who were there from the very beginning. It's cool."

On the other hand, another long-time cast, George Eads, who played Nick Stokes, declined to come back for the "CSI" finale movie. Elizabeth Shue, who played Julie Finlay, won't be returning as well.
