Nokia phones don't seem like a great choice between an iPhone or a Samsung phone these days but reports say the cellphone company is making a great comeback with the development of an Android-capable phone.
According to a China-based news portal, Nokia C1 is currently developing a phone that runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and an Intel Atom chipset.
The Android Nokia phone will reportedly have a 5-inch screen at 1080p and a 2GB RAM capacity.

President of Nokia China also confirmed that the company is currently developing Android phones.
According to various reports, the Nokia C1 Android phone will not be out until next year right after the company's non-compete clause with Microsoft ends, a clause that came when Nokia sold its device business to Microsoft.
Based on the non-compete documents the Nokia's big bosses had signed, Nokia is not allowed to design, create nor launch smart phones.
Despite the non-compete clause, Nokia was able to launch its Nokia 1 tablet by licensing it to Foxconn.
The N1, dubbed as iPad mini's rival, runs on Z Android launcher (which is Nokia's launcher), has a laminated 7. Inch screen, 2048 x 1536 resolution and is 6.9mm thin.
Luckily, constraints on Nokia in terms of phone manufacturing and distribution will end on Dec. 31 this year - the last day of the non-compete clause.
This would mean that Nokia may embark on the journey of Android phones development. Something that the company had missed for decades.
On the other hand, Adroid 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, which is the rumored operating system of Nokia C1 smart phone, will reportedly be released in the coming weeks.
Android Marshmallow will reportedly be resolving bugs from the previous Android 5.0 Lollipop, enable better voice controls and finger print scanning.
