Nokia C1 live images has been spotted in the wild.
After Nokia's fall out in the smartphones market a few years ago, the Finnish company is about to join the stiff competition of Android and Apple. Reportedly, on the works with its first Android based smartphone.
Last week a press rendered image of an alleged Nokia C1 leaked on Weibo where many have questioned its authenticity. But the recent live images that have surfaced today might confirm its existence in which reveals significant design as the press rendered image.
The Nokia C1's rounded images are much alike the Nokia N1 tablet, accented with a very slim bezel and enclosed in an unknown casing. But there are claims that Nokia's first Android phone will feature a metal unibody design. (See photos here.)
Interestingly, the leaked images also revealed that the Nokia C1 runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow and expected to have a Z launcher on top of it.
Phone Arena noted that Nokia's first Android phone will be a mid-range device, instead a flagship one.
"We expect the device to have the following specs: a 5-inch display, an Intel Atom chipset, paired with 2 GB of RAM, and an 8 MP camera, coupled with a 5 MP front camera," Phone Arena wrote as per rumored specs and features.
Meanwhile, Softpedia added that a Chinese tech firm will manufacture and produce the alleged Nokia C1, while Nokia was only designated to design the smartphone.
Meanwhile, the Nokia N1 remains to be exclusive in Taiwan and China which can be purchased through a flash sale for approximately $270.
Specs-wise, Nokia N1 sports a 7.9-in 2,560 x 1,536 IPS LCD display; powered by a 2.4GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor paired with 2GB RAM and an onboard 32GB; 5,300mAh battery, and packs an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and 5MP front snapper.
