Thanks to hits from "X" like "Sing," "Don't," "Photograph," and the viral "Thinking Out Loud," Ed Sheeran's net worth has now doubled since 2013.
According to Metro, the 24-year-old singer's Ed Sheeran Limited (where he is a director) made £5,679,456 or about $8 million in pre-tax profit in 2014. That means he got £15,560 or roughly $24,000 a day for that whole year.
The Sun noted that with the success of his "Multiply" world tour, that number will only increase.
"This time next year these figures - which are already huge - will be even bigger," a source reportedly told the paper.
However, other superstars are earning way more than this every day. In fact, DJ Calvin Harris gets paid £117,800 or about $180,000 daily.
Mirror reported that other celebs like Dr. Dre ($1.7 million/day), Beyonce ($315,000/day), Justin Bieber ($219,000/day), One Direction ($205,000/day), Paul McCartney ($195,000/day), Taylor Swift ($175,000/day), Rihanna ($132,000/day), Elton John ($123,000/day), and Miley Cyrus ($98,000/day) earned way more than Sheeran in 2014.
