Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were last seen in public last April, which started out rumors that the two are heading for divorce.
According to reports, the two are having marital problems because the actor has been drinking and partying too much.
"Amber is constantly worried about him. He'll go days without calling or texting her," an insider told In Touch.
"He parties and it's caused huge fights with Amber. It's been hard for them."
However, E! News claims that the couple isn't separated. "They've always been together," their source said. "They travel for work then come home. They live together and are very much in love, despite what's being said about breakup rumors."
After almost five months of not being seen in public together, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard surprised everyone at the Venice Film Festival.
The 52-year-old actor arrived with his 29-year-old wife at the prestigious event for the premiere of his latest movie "Black Mass."
"They're adorable together," a source told E! News. The insider also reported that the couple looked very much in love and has been packing the PDA in the theater.
The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star looked dashing in a black tuxedo while "The Danish Girl" actress wore a sexy black gown paired with gold jewelry.
After Depp and Heard enjoy their red carpet moment, the gorgeous actress will have to face the charges over alleged illegal importation of their two dogs Pistol and Boo back in May.
However, Brisbane Times reported that the "Magic Mike XXL" star is unlikely to appear at the Gold Coast court.
The couple was given an ultimatum by Australian Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce. He asked them to get their dogs out of the country within 50 hours or they will be euthanized.
During Johnny and Amber's appearance at the Venice Film Festival, the actor was asked if he would like to take his dogs on a gondola ride.
"I killed my dogs. And ate them. Under direct orders from some kind of sweaty, big-gutted man from Australia," he joked while indirectly referring to Mr. Joyce.
Despite the dog drama in Oz, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard managed to focus on their work and just make fun of what happened.
