Will Past Champs Join ‘American Idol’ Season 15? Jordin Sparks Wants That To Happen!

| By

With "American Idol" season 15 being the long-running show's finale drawing near, many past winners and contestants have expressed their desire to come back to the show for one last time. One particular former champion is Jordin Sparks, who won the competition's sixth season.

Unreality TV reported that the singer is "still holding out hope that she'll get to head home one last time" even though she finds the upcoming end "sad." However, she doesn't want to go back by herself though.

"Yes, this is the last season," she reportedly told Extra TV some time ago. "It's sad, you know. I'm hoping they'll bring back all the winners."

Thanks to their shared memories with the competition, past winners would most likely give their support to the show that turned them into superstars. In fact, that already happened when they came together back in 2010 to say goodbye to Simon Cowell, one of the original "American Idol" judges.

ABC boss Gary Newman already promised some "surprises" for the upcoming "American Idol" season 15, assuring fans of the show that the final run will "feel special."

Speculations about past judges coming together for the singing competition already surfaced some months ago. The Ryan Seacrest-hosted show has reportedly been working hard to bring back Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson - the original judging trio. Other judges include Kara DioGuardi, Ellen DeGeneres, Steve Tyler, Mariah Carey (who already refused to join the panel again), and Nicki Minaj.

The current set of jurors - Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick, Jr. - will definitely be back for the final season.

Whether famous alumni Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert, Chris Daughtry and the others will drop by "American Idol" season 15 or not, the finale will still be something to watch out for next year.

Msuic Producer Scott Borchetta will be returning to the show once again to sign the next (and last) "American Idol" winner with his own music label.
