Kit Harington's Jon Snow character has become such a stable character in "Game Of Thrones" that his death (in all intent and purposes) devastated millions of fans all over the world.
One particular heartbroken viewer was none other than executive producer David Benioff's wife, Amanda Peet.
The showrunner may have come home to his wife every night but he reportedly did not tell her anything about Jon Snow's exit from the highly successful HBO series.
Sharing her frustration to Jimmy Kimmel during his late night show, the actress joked that she "doesn't love [her] husband anymore" because of what happened to Kit Harington's character, Jon Snow.
"I don't love my husband anymore. Jon Snow - I said if you kill him, that's it," he told Kimmel. "I'm in the process of getting divorced. I'm not kidding."
Despite several sightings of Harington in Belfast over the past couple of months with his long hair still intact, HBO, Harington or the "Game Of Thrones" producers have not spoken about a possible return for the fan favorite character.
Peet continued that before the infamous stabbing happened, she was already on high alert for the possibility of Jon Snow's death.
"He went out with Kit [Harington] two weeks before the finale, I said, 'I hear all this stuff, he got a haircut, I don't want to divorce you, what's happening?'" she continued.
When Benioff reportedly sent a photo of the actor still wearing his long hair, her "marriage blossomed again. David got laid." Apparently, it all came crashing down just two episodes later.
Peet isn't the only one desperate to keep Kit Harington's Jon Snow character alive. Several fans have come up with theories that support the idea that the Stark bastard was going to live or somehow get resurrected in "Game Of Thrones" season six. These ideas range from having Melisandre raise him from his funeral pyre (to eventually fulfil the theory of him being Azor Ahai) to actually having a twin sister!
