PlayStation Plus Members may not have to deal with long queues for Project Morpheus demos at the Tokyo Game Show 2015.
Last week, Sony revealed their TGS 2015 lineup for the PS4 and PS Vita which includes 19 titles announced so far. But the tech giant's Project Morpheus VR headset will also make an appearance, according to DualShockers.
Then again, that's not exactly new. Back in July, SCE boss Shuhei Yoshida said more Project Morpheus titles will be revealed at TGS, as Franchise Herald reported.
What's interesting though is that Japanese PlayStation Plus members will allegedly "have a chance to get preferential access to the demos via a booking service."
And while Sony hasn't revealed which exact Project Morpheus demos will be available, VR Focus said "London Heist" from SCE London Studio and "Headmaster" from Frame may be included given their "usual appearances."
The PS4 VR headset also appeared at last year's Tokyo Game Show where a tech demo of "Summer Lesson" made by "Tekken's" Katsuhiro Harada was shown, according to the website.
Meanwhile at last week's IFA 2015 in Berlin, Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai praised the VR headset calling it a "remarkable innovation" and that it's "the future of gaming and pushes the boundaries of play," according to VR Focus.
"[It] achieves a sense of presence that takes you beyond conventional gameplay and to worlds of unprecedented depth and perception. So we're talking about powerful 360-degree experiences unlike anything that you've ever experienced," he said.
Merely mentioning the VR headset at the event is a big deal as noted by the website because it shows that Sony is recognising its potential "beyond the core PlayStation 4 audience."
Still, Sony remains tight lipped on Project Morpheus release date and price. In the meantime, consumers can look forward to demos at the Tokyo Game Show 2015 which opens its doors from Sept. 17 to 20.
