Following her effective portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen of Khaleesi (Mother of Dragons) in the hit HBO series "Game of Thrones," Emilia Clarke instantly became a household name.
However, despite her fame, the 28-year-old English actress revealed in an interview with Metro magazine that she would still want anonimity.
"I don't like what fame brings; sometimes I just want to be invisible, so I can walk down a street and enjoy a good time," she revealed.
The success of the series has also made her land roles in high-budget and main stream movies, like the recent "Terminator: Genysis," which she truly appreciates.
"If being lucky means being able to work for many years seeking an opportunity, then yes, I've been lucky. Television gave me a boost," she said. "But I don't want people to remember me as Daenerys Targaryen from 'Game of Thrones.'"
Apparenlty, playing Sarah Connor in the latest installment of the classic cyborg-themed movie has made her dreams come true.
"Working alongside a cyborg murderer. But above all seeing myself in the midst of a film that I grew up with, with people whom I have admired, such as Arnold Schwarzenegger," she said.
However, despite the international success it raked in the box office, grossing $409,515,690, according to Box Office Mojo, Emilia Clarke is said to leave the "Terminator" franchise.
According to Dish Nation, the "Game of Thrones" star is no longer joining the franchise because of lack of "acting ability."
"Sadly her acting ability has been called into question and has in part been blamed for the film's flop," the insider of the publication alleged.
Adding, "Of course it's not all her fault. But they basically don't want her back. They're saying she doesn't have the star power they thought she did."
However, "Game of Thrones" star Emilia Clarke nor the "Terminator: Genysis" execs have yet to comment on the said report.
