While Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis vehemently denied rumors romantically involving her to renowned chef, Bobby Flay, new update suggest that the two have actually spent enormous amount of money to divorce their exes.
Apparently, Laurentiis agreed to giving $9,000 support to his ex-husband Todd Thompson as spousal support, Radar Online reported.
The couple will reportedly share the custody of their 7-year-old daughter, Jade Marie.
Additionally, "She must also sign over the $3.2 home the pair owned in swanky Pacific Palisades, Calif., that contains more than $300,000 in furnishings. The two will also split $2 million spread over various bank accounts."
While the divorce sounded really expensive already, Giada De Laurentiis is also said to share half of the royality shared from her book, totalling to $5 million.
All of that De Laurentiis is reportedly willing to shell out just to be with Bobby Flay.
In fact, Starcasm previously reported that the rumored couple started dating way before their divorces were finalized.
"Plus, now Bobby's divorce is final, and he and Giada allegedly (very allegedly, but still) both held hands under and carved their initials into the table while having dinner together not long ago," the report claimed.
However, Giada De Laurentiis is insistent that there is nothing going on between her and Bobby Flay.
"People are going to write what people are going to write. Luckily, my daughter's still young enough that I can shelter her a little bit from it all, but I deal with it and I don't really respond to it, and I move past it. It's going to be what it's going to be," she told Extra TV.
Meanwhile, Bobby Flay is also said to have spent a hefty amount of money for his divorce with ex-wife, Stephanie March.
The "Law & Order: SVU" actress however, reportedly ended up on the losing end as she was forced to vacate their $8-million Manhattan property following the settlement with chef Bobby Flay.
According to Page Six, "He will keep the house in Amagansett and the Manhattan apartment. Stephanie has to leave the Manhattan apartment at a specified date in the next few months."
