"Digimon Adventure Tri" premier titled "Reunion" is confirmed for release on Nov. 21.
And while fans are anxiously waiting for the date to arrive, a new trailer featuring the anime's main characters together with new digimons accompanied by the opening song called "Butter-fly" performed by Kouji Wada, had been released.
Toghether with it comes a new poster in line with the franchise's 15th anniversary celebration.
The poster sees new versions of main digimons, Agumon and Gabumon.
New photos of "Digimon Adventure Tri" are made available by Anime News Network prior to its release date.
Accordingly, the six-part mini series anime will see the reunion of the characters 15 years following the events in season 1.
Also, fans will get to see Tai reunite with his beloved digimon, Agumon in the "Digimon Adventure Tri" premiere episode.
A Reddit user named G-Santos revealed the details about Tai and Agumon's reunion.
"A mysterious Digimon materializes before Taichi, who has become a high school student, and steals his Digivice. A voice is heard in front of Taichi, who is perplexed after losing Agumon from sight. The adventure once again evolves," it said.
"Digimon Adventure Tri" is set to be a six-part theatrical series with the first film titled "Saikai" (Reunion) to be released on Nov. 21, 2015, Anime News Network reported.
As reported by Anime News Network, cast of characters and voice actors have been introduced as well in the new "Digimon Adventure Tri" trailer.
