After inisting that all of the members of 5 Seconds of Summer are single, it seemed like drummer Ashton Irwin has finally admitted that he is having a relationship with girlfriend, Bryana Holly.
According to Unreality TV, Irwin told Sugarscape that he went on a rendezvous with his girlfriend.
"I went into the desert with my girlfriend at the time for two days or something, and I was like 'Okay, I have to be back by Monday morning because I have a writing session at John's,'" he said of their new 5SOS single, "She's Kinda Hot."
Moreover, Ashton Irwin has said to have admitted his relationship with girlfriend Bryana Holly in an interview with Rolling Stone where he claimed that his inspiration in making music comes from his love.
"The place itself [Los Angeles] feels really magical... I even met a girl over there and fell in love. Things like that contributed to making this album. It felt unreal, and before we knew it, we'd recorded everything and it was time to go on tour," the 5SOS drummer explained.
His admission actually came as a surprise to most 5SOS fans as he has been completely dismissing reports that he has a girlfriend.
In fact he previously confirmed in an interview with Movie News Guide that they are all single.
"We all are [single] I believe," Michael Clifford announced.
Hood agreed saying, "We all carry the same flag."
Additionally, there's a reported strict 5 Seconds of Summer "no girlfriend" rule being implemented by the band members.
However,with Ashton Irwin's recent statement, it may be safe to assume that no such rule exist.
Also, Ashton Irwin revealed that he had suffered depression just like other people and while he is very much happy with his girlfriend, Byrana Holly, he has a message to people who suffer from mental depression.
"Some days your head will be a whirlpool of depression and anxiety! In those days you gotta breath & focus on everything great in life!" He tweeted.
Adding, "You aren't on your own!!! You can find the greatest things in life in the smallest and simplest things, you just gotta take a moment."
This is not the first time that the 5SOS drummer offered his advice to people who suffer from emotional distress. Sugarscape noted that Irwin once posted a message to his followers who are suffering from bullying.
"No matter how nasty people are in life... Show kindness, smile through it and love, laugh, be good people, just cause you can," he previously wrote.
Sugarscape broke the news claiming that the 5 Seconds of Summer drummer has been spotted getting cozy around his girlfriend in Venice's beach park where the two played around in "nifty little go karts together, and it's so cute that we're bending over double across the desk to handle it."
The publication also mentioned that Bryana Holly was the girl whom "Ashton was spotted with at Disneyland a couple of months ago." But the couple kept their relationship quiet not until now.
