Stephen Amell had a good time in WWE Summerslam and so are his fans. The "Arrow" star appeared in the professional wrestling arena and slugged it out with Stardust in a two-on-two match.
He teamed up with Neville while the pro wrestler tagged in Barrett. Amell was preparing for "Arrow" season 4 at that time, reason why his fans admired him for taking the time to fight in WWE.
While Stephen Amell's WWE Summerslam appearance delighted many people, there is one person who is vocally against it. He is no other than pro wrestling Hall of Fame inductee Stone Cold Steve Austin.
"I just don't like the celebrities coming in there, the squared circle, and being able to compete at any level with the guys in the business," he said in his own podcast called The Steve Austin Show. "You've got to protect some of the integrity of the business. I don't care what day and age, what year it is."
Adding, "I just got a hard time seeing that kid come off with that crossbody on the top rope on two WWE guys down there. So, was it embarrassing? You're damn right it was, but for the wrong reasons, and the reasons were bad booking. It was shoot embarrassing to those guys to have to go out there and do that with the actor guy involved, but that's on a shoot level, so it was an embarrassment because of the booking, and I felt bad for those guys because they were in that role."
Stephen Amell was not the only one he criticized. Stone Cold also threw jabs towards Michael Cole (Raw announcer) who said Stardust and Barrett's loss is "embarrassing."
"So was it embarrassing? You're damn right it was, but for the wrong reasons and the reasons [were] bad booking," he explained.

Is Stone Cold Steve Austin right about Stephen Amell's WWE Summerslam appearance?
Meanwhile, Amell and his crew are now mid-way in their production for their new season.
