"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" rumor surfaced online, but leaked details might be hoax.
Bandai Namco's hit game "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" might be getting another instalment, if the rumors are to be believed.
In a screenshot leaked by Area Jugones which made its rounds online, revealed that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be released in June 2016.
There's no doubt that the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" could get another instalment after it was reportedly sold over 2.5 million copies in April, but leaked details are hard to believe.
First, the comma between the month and year of its alleged release date was a "very unusual" practice when announcing release dates which now "raised doubts about the legitimacy of the screen-shot," IB Times reported.
Push Square added that an old logo of PS4 was used on the leaked image, given the fact that Sony has already changed it on previous firmware update.
And last, the alleged image could just be a fake constructed image as it was taken off-screen, and Christian Today suggest that it was done to hide poor quality of the image.
Meanwhile, Tokyo Game Show will be happening on Sept. 17 through 20. If this photo is legit, Bandai Namco will surely announce some details of the game and its progress. For now, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" fans may take this as a grain of salt until the game developers make their official statement.
On the other "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" news, the game's PC Digital version is being offered at a discounted price $24.99 from $45.95 at Amazon along with Bandai Namco's "Dark Souls," "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution," and "Project CARS," to name a few, Geeksnack reported.
