While fans are anxiously waiting for Tool to finally launch a new album, the American rock band, who last released a record 10 years ago has something very insteresting to offer to their fans.

According to Consequence of Sound, Tool has launched "quilted blankets made from old Tool t-shirts."

Yes! Blankets instead of a new album.

And they don't come cheap. It's been reported that one Tool blanket costs a hefty $199, since it's only available in limited quantities.

Below are the details of Tool's new merchandise.

- Individually cut-n-sewn in the USA
- Dimensions 75″ X 75″
- Topside 100% cotton shirts and contrast fabric
- Bottomside Fleece
- Polyester thread & polynylon corner folds
- Reinforced double stitching

While the band is most likely not going to launch a new album anytime soon, at least fans could get something new from them.

Meanwhile, Tool is also set to make their first performance on Halloween.

According to a separate report of Consequence Of Sound, fans are expecting to here news from the band's new album at Monster Mash Music Festival in October, where big bands including Coheed and Cambria and Primus are also performing in the big Halloween event.

And while fans are still waiting for a new album from Tool, guitarist Adam Jones has previously told Yahoo Music that now that the "lawsuit is out of the way," they should expect "great things" from Tool.

"Our greatest strength is jamming and coming up with stuff," Jones assured.

"We're doing that really well now and I'm excited about everything we're working on. Some of it's really heavy, some of it's complex and some is more atmospheric, but it's definitely Tool. I think having this lawsuit out of the way should really speed of the progress of getting the album done."
