"Real Housewives of Orange County" star Vicki Gunvalson and her longtime boyfriend Brooks Ayers have finally decided to call it quits.
In a lengthy statement she posted on her Facebook page, the 53-year-old reality star explained the former couple's decision to split.
"After much prayer, thought, counseling, and consideration, we have decided to end our four year relationship. We both wish nothing but a great future for each other. We have come to realize that one can indeed love someone in their heart, but that the time may come for their lives to take separate paths. Though the remaining episodes of Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County will show us as a couple, the filming took place in January 2015 through May 2015. There will be no further statements or interviews regarding our relationship as we choose to move on with our lives. Though we choose to live our lives in the public eye we thank you for your understanding and ask privacy during this difficult time."
The statement immediately came after rumors circulating that Brooks Ayers is actually faking his health condition.
Apparently, Vicki Gunvalson's "Real Housewives of Orange County" co-stars are accusing Brooks of faking his cancer, Radar Online previously reported.
And while she and Ayers went on their separate ways, Gunvalson could not take such rumors sitting down.
"Vicki thinks that the fact that anyone would accuse Brooks of faking something like cancer is just absolutely ridiculous," someone reportedly close to Vicki told the publication.
Adding, "Vicki goes to every single appointment with him and he has a ton of substantial medical proof that he is not faking a terminal illness. That is just sick and she is not even going to play into this because it is such cr*p."
Vicki also adressed one of her Twitter followers when accused about Brooks Ayers' medical condition.
"We do not condone or find this funny in the least bit about Brooks health. He has cancer and is going to focus on his health," Vicki Gunvalson responded.
