Franchise Herald got an exclusive scoop on the upcoming remake of the 1990s hit movie "Pretty Woman," and a U.S.-born pageant queen is playing the role of Julia Roberts, The Film Reels announced on Twitter.
Miss Ohio USA 2012 Audrey Bolte competed during the national pageant that year and clinched the second runner-up spot ahead of African-American Miss Georgia USA 2012 Jazz Wilkins and Nevada's representative that year.
During the final question, New York Times bestselling author Marilu Henner asked Miss Ohio USA 2012 Audrey Bolte of her opinion on how actress Julia Roberts was depicted in the movie "Pretty Woman."
Her answer wowed the judges.
"Pretty Woman," according to the Internet Movie Database, revolves around the story of a female prostitute - whose life she did not choose - and was recruited by a businessman only to fall in love with her in the end.
The movie was nominated for an Academy Award, as actress Julia Roberts took on the big screen to bravely portray the role of female prostitute Vivian Ward.
Franchise Herald got an exclusive "announcement" on Twitter that the movie is in the works, after a Twitter user suggested Miss USA 2012 Audrey Bolte play the role of the lead character. As to what Audrey Bolte thinks of the offer, she has yet to share her response to the media.
Audrey Bolte walked the runway during the pageant night, introducing herself as a small-town country girl who made her way into the competition, beating the other contestants.
In her interview during the pageant night, she said, "We have a wonderful country that we live in and we have the freedom to choose, and pursue anything that we have. A lot of people don't have that opportunity, but I'm going to take full advantage of it, trust me."
She added she is going to push herself and she is pretty "proud about that."
In her official profile on the Miss USA 2012 website, Audrey Bolte has a degree in business administration and minor in equine studies. She is also interested in hiking, swimming and fishing.
During the final question, she answered with a strong opinion, "I think it depends on the movie, I think there are some movies in a very positive role and some movies that put them in a little bit of a negative role but in the end of the movie, they show that woman power."
She cited the movie "Pretty Woman" and said that she did not let anybody stay on her path.
