Reports have it that when "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 premiere date arrives, people will find instant answer on the questions regarding Rebecca's killer.
The hit ABC horror series ended its first season by opening up a new mystery aside from the murder of Lyla and Sam. Star witness Rebecca was killed by a still unidentified suspect and Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and Lyla's killer Frank (Charlie Weber) are the only ones who knows it so far.
That is not the only thing that will unfold in show's return. Viola Davis said "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 premiere episode is both complicated and fascinating.
"We're in our third episode. One thing I can share with you is it starts off with a bang," Davis told Deadline when asked for an update regarding HTGAWM.
"A lot of the mysteries will be solved and answered, and then absolutely a new one will be presented. It's just so complicated and fascinating, and that happens in the first episode."
Katie Findlay, who plays the now dead Rebecca, will still be seen in the second season. However, it is not because she has been revived by some magic.
She is definitely dead and her appearance will only be through flashbacks. Davis said these flashbacks will go really deep that audience will get to know the students even more.
"Then you're going to get a lot more insight into the past of every character," she said in the interview.
"And so, you can understand why these people have been put together in some kind of weird cosmic way, because I'm a person that actually believes that people find each other, like minds find each other."
"How to Get Away with Murder" is one of the most successful series of 2014. The show made history in the upcoming 67th Primetime Emmy Awards for having two African-American actresses nominated in the event.
Aside from Davis, other characters returning are Billy Brown as Detective Nate Lahey, Alfred Enoch as Wes Gibbins, Jack Falahee as Connor Walsh, Matt McGorry as Asher Millstone, Karla Souza as Laurel Castillo, and Liza Weil as Bonnie Winterbottom.
"How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 premiere is on Sept. 24.
