Rob Kardashian's weight loss is going great, it appears, as he posts his first Instagram selfie in years, appearing to be thinner than when he was last photographed.
On Sunday, Rob, who has reportedly been living away from his family to avoid the limelight, posted a selfie, looking thinner and relatively happier. The photo was in black and white and captioned, "Gnight."
According to celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson, Rob Kardashian is very dedicated to his weight loss this time and always manages to work out even with a very busy schedule.
"Rob is always in! He's slammed schedule-wise and still makes this work," Peterson said. "Never worry about Rob."
While on the way to healing himself and getting back into shape, Rob also seems to be getting in touch with the root of his weight problems.
A few days ago, he posted a throwback picture of himself sipping on a very large glass of milk shake, with two other glasses on the side. "Started right here with these milkshakes hahaha #throwbackthursday," he wrote.
In one episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," Rob also explained that he was so "unhappy," reason why he gained so much weight.
"I've been the most unhappiest person for about a year and a half and it's very, very easy to fall off the wagon. I need to literally dedicate my entire life to my fitness," he said.
Over the past years, the Kardashians have had weight loss plans and interventions for Rob, after he gained more than 100 lbs. due to depression over his break up with singer Rita Ora in 2012.
Things got so out of hand that momager Kris Jenner offered to pay for gastric bypass surgery just so Rob could shed all those extra pounds!
"Rob hates gyms," a source previously said. "But he's under strict orders from Kris to lose 70lbs before Kim's wedding to Kanye West this summer. Rob figured that getting his stomach stapled is the only way to meet Kris' deadline."
Of course, the biggest supporter of Rob Kardashian's weight loss is his sister, Kim Kardashian West herself.
"I think he's just going through a phase where he's not comfortable in his own skin," Kim previously said. "He is working really hard to get back to where he really wants to be."
