Wendy's Employee Caught Eating Soft-Serve Ice-Cream Straight Out of the Machine

| By

Recent photos have been shared on social media which might make fast food customers at Taco Bell and Wendy's think twice about going there for their latest junk food fix.

First, a photo of a Taco Bell employee shared a photo on Facebook of him linking a bunch of taco's which would most likely have been served to customers after the gross incident. He was since identified and promptly fired from the company.

Now, an unidentified Wendy's worker at an unidentified Wendy's location, bending down with his mouth wide open under a familiar Frosty machine, as he gobbles-down the ice-creamy goop.

The photo, posted Wednesday on the content-sharing site Reddit, came with this note from a customer: "I was going to buy a Frosty from Wendy's until I saw the employee do this."

"We don't know the exact date the photo was taken, but we believe in it was in May," Bob Bertini, a spokesman for Wendy's, told the Daily News.

Wendy's was investigating and would take appropriate action, according to Bertini.

Unfortunately, the timing of the incident could not be more off. Wendy's is currently promoting its Frosty products, including its newest Frosty Waffle Cone, for a Father's Day charity drive for the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, named after Wendy's founder.
