'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Season 3 Spoilers: Not One, But Two; Charles Boyle To Get Hit By Cupid Twice?

| By

A recent "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 3 spoiler from Deadline revealed the pilot episode will deal with the continuation of romance between Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero).

The two shared a couple of romantic kisses in last season's finale and the first episode in their return will somehow answer what is really going on between them. However, showrunner warns fans it might only be gradual.

While there is no assurance yet if Jake will see his feelings for Melissa reciprocated, his best friend and partner Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio) will have a field day when it comes to the state of his heart.

New "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 3 spoiler said the goofy friend of Jake will get his 2nd love interest this season.

"This fall, Boyle is going to have his hands - and heart - full," Entertainment Weekly's "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" wrote on Friday.

"The earnest, hapless detective played by Joe Lo Truglio on Brooklyn Nine-Nine is being given another romantic interest early in season 3 of the Fox comedy. 24's Mary Lynn Rajskub will appear at least one episode as a successful art gallery owner named Genevieve, EW has learned exclusively. Boyle is so charmed by her that he believes she may be his soulmate.""

Last month, TV Line also reported that "The Good Wife" actress Archie Panjabi also landed a guest star role in the Fox Network comedy series and will play as a police officer who was smitten by Trugilo's character.

"Former Good Wife star Archie Panjabi is returning to the small screen this fall on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, TVLine has learned exclusively. The Emmy winner will guest star as Lieutenant Knox, a police officer who has her eye on Joe Lo Truglio's Detective Boyle. She'll appear in Season 3's second episode," TV Line revealed on July 30.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine-" season 3 premiere is on Oct. 4.
