[PHOTO] Tesla Model X Spy Shots Preview SUV’s Curves; Stores Updated To Prepare For EV Launch

Palo Alto's upcoming electric SUV will have a beautiful, curvy design as the latest Tesla Model X spy shots revealed.

The preview comes courtesy of Twitter user Matt Waxman. As can be seen from above, the all-electric SUV isn't covered by camouflaging designed to hide its design.

Check out other glimpses of the Model X posted at the Tesla Motors Club forums and website TeslaMondo.

"This is starting to look purty darn polished, so I'm inclined to believe we are seeing actual release candidates and more or less the final design," Gas 2's Zachary Shahan said.

Indeed, the most recent Tesla Model X spy shots seem to indicate that the Palo Alto, Calif.-based EV maker is gearing up for the launch of its electric SUV. Green Car Reports picked up on one example of the vehicles posted by Silicon Valley Teslas via Teslarati reportedly spotted near the company's Silicon Valley headquarters.

"The car did not have any camouflage, but its front and rear bumpers (as well as the trim on the tailgate) were covered in plastic wrap."

According to the website, the material is used to protect new cars in transit so they arrive at their destination in pristine condition.

Franchise Herald reported last month that the Model X has managed to score over 24,000 reservations. Earlier this month, CEO Elon Musk said deliveries will begin on September 30 or Q3 2015.

To prepare for the Model X SUV's launch, Tesla has reportedly revamped its stores.

Bloomberg took an exclusive tour in a Tesla store located in the upscale Santana Row shopping center in San Jose, Calif. which featured four main interactive displays: safety, autopilot features, Tesla's Supercharger network and the dual-motor motors that drive some Model S variants.

As usual, these are accompanied by staff trained to answer questions about Tesla's electric cars.

And to forge a deeper connection with customers, Tesla even has its own fashion line which reportedly includes a tote bag ($300), leather driving gloves ($100) and an iPhone sleeve ($40) made from scraps used for Model S interiors.

Taking a cue from the fashion industry, Bloomberg said Tesla stores will undergo twice-yearly seasonal revamps to attract new customers and keep existing ones.

Amidst the latest Tesla Model X spy shots and revamped stores, the EV maker is hoping it's all-electric SUV will double its sales.
