Is it really ready? Is Adele finally going to release her new album sooner rather than later?
While "Skyfall" singer has yet to comment on the reports, it seems like someone from her camp has revealed a very important detail about her new album.
Apparenlty, it will be released sometime in November.
"Adele has been teasing the follow-up to her 2011 blockbuster, 21, for more than a year, but a new set of music may finally materialize this fall - the label is planning on a November release," Billboard has learned.
Additionally, Billboard has reported that famed music producer Danger Mouse, whose real name is Brian Burton, is said to be working with the Grammy award-winning artist for her new album.
"Danger Mouse has been working with Adele on her hotly anticipated third studio album," Billboard reported. "Whether his production handiwork makes it onto the project remains to be seen. A rep for the producer insists the ink's not dry on 30th Century, but a Sony insider says it's being kept under the radar."
Mirror on the other hand, reported that the 27-year-old British singer is actually going to surprise fans with her new album's release.
"It was complete but she was worried it wouldn't be as good as '21' and went back into the studio a few times," a source reportedly explained. "She wanted to release it as a surprise like Beyonce quite a few months ago but it wasn't ready.
"She decided to re-write some of the material but it's now done and will hopefully be released later this year."
The Daily Star added that the team behind Adele's new album is now preparing for the surprise release, which will be launched via iTunes.
"The plan is to release internationally on iTunes as a complete surprise without any previous promotion or build-up publicity campaign," the source reportedly said. "The shock tactics worked amazingly well for Beyoncé and the feeling is Adele's new album is so widely anticipated it doesn't need a long promotional build-up."
Even Ed Sheeran, who is a self-confessed Adele fan has already weighed in on the details about the "Chashing Pavements" singer's new album.
"I haven't heard [the record], but everyone I know who've worked on it is just like, 'Dude... that record!' Apparently it's really good," the 24-year-old Grammy winner told Capital FM.
