Following the lackluster "Expendables 3," who would have thought that Sylvester Stallone would want to go and move forward with "Expendables 4?"
Apparenlty, he wants to go ahead and work on a new sequel, based on what he told Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
According to India Times, Stallone has asked the Bollywood star to join the cast of "Expendables 4" in a series of tweets.
"Salman, I am very impressed with your many devoted fans. To make a great Action film Sucessful takes MANY great fans who support you, Sly"
Adding, "Mabye the New EXPENDABLES"
In addition to the Bollywood star, "Expendables 4" will apparently include a WWE legend in the casting line up as well.
According to Wrestling Inc.(via Uproxx), Hulk Hogan will play the next villain in the action-adventure franchise led by Sylester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
"Was talking on the phone with Sly [Stallone] about doing The Expendables 4," Hogan revealed.
"We're trying to figure out a way to maybe turn me into the most evil man in the world. Y'know, Stallone gave me my first break and he's been a great friend for all these years ... We had a great conversation, talking about the possibilities. Can I still run, can I still jump? Well, not as fast or not as high, but I think Hollywood could find a good stunt man to help me out."
However, Sly has yet to confirm if Hulk Hogan is indeed going to appear in the next installment of "Expendables 4."
Meanwhile, Jason Statham, who has been in the franchise since the beginning has already expressed his desire to return for the fourth film.
"Working with Sylvester Stallone is beyond a pinch yourself moment," the 47-year-old British actor said of his co-star in an interview with IGN.
Moreover, Statham claimed his involvement with the franchise would depend on Sylvester Stallone.
"I remember growing up watching his films. And to be directed by him and to be in a movie that he's produced and to be shoulder to shoulder with Sly is a privilege any man who loves action movies would never turn their nose up at. I mean, it's terrific. I'll do as many as he wants."
