Sony Adds ‘Grow Home’ For PS Plus September Free Games Through ‘Vote To Play’

Sony unveiled the PS Plus free games list for the month of September.

Ahead of Microsoft's announcement of its Xbox Live with Gold free games, Sony outed its list for PS Plus members first. As part of the PS Plus program, Sony came up with a new campaign, the "Vote to Play", in which PS Plus members will be able to vote from a number of PlayStation hits game to be included in PS Plus free games for the month of September.

"Your voices have been heard," Sony's Ryan Clements wrote in PlayStation Blog.

"We're delighted to reveal your selection, and the first title in next month's free games lineup: Grow Home on PS4."

The "Vote to Play" brings "Grow Home" for the September list of PS Plus free games. This "adorable game about BUD (Botanical Utility Droid), who is traveling the stars in search of new flora to help his home planet" garnered 44 percent votes from gamers and has won against"Armello" and "Zombie Vikings.

Meanwhile, Gamers who voted for these two games may need not to fret as Sony confirmed that these titles will also arrive on PS Plus too, and will be both offered at 30 percent discount to members starting Sept. 11until 15, IB times reported.


In addition to "Grow Home," "Super Time Force Ultra" and "Xeodrifter" will be offered a cross buy for PS4 and PS-Vita, while the 2D platformer Indie game "Teslagrad" will be available both for PS3 and PS4 in September.

Meanwhile, "La Mulana EX" and "Twisted Metal" will be a PS-Vita and PS3 exclusive free games respectively for PS Plus members throughout the month of September.

"A revamped take on a landmark PSone series, Twisted Metal features competitive, destructive gameplay in which players drive heavily armed vehicles solo or with a co-op buddy in the Calypso's Tournament campaign mode. Twisted Metal additionally offers several online modes that support up to 16 simultaneous players," according to Digital Trends.
