Dave Franco and Alison Brie got engaged after 3 years of dating under the radar and away from the prying eyes of the media.
News about the engagement was announced by the 32-year-old "Mad Men" actress herself during the premiere of her new movie, "Sleeping With Other People" at the London West Hollywood.
Brie also showed off her gorgeous engagement ring, which according to US Weekly, is a rose cut diamond on top of a gold ring, designed by Irene Neuwirth.
Dave Franco and Alison Brie may have surprised a lot of people on their engagement seeing that they rarely go out in public together. During the Met Gala, they even walked the red carpet separately.
On the other hand, the couple teamed up in a hilarious "Funny Or Die" NSFW video entitled "Dream Girl."
Brie previously told Elle Magazine that she might not get married because she wasn't the marrying type.
"I don't even know if I want to get married," Brie told Elle, before she dated Franco. "I've never been the girl who's planning my dream wedding - I was always practicing my speech for the Oscars. That was my dream, which is kind of sad but kind of great."
"Our parents got married because it was expected of them. Even my parents, who are hippies, felt some kind of pressure, I'm sure. I don't know that I'm the marrying kind,"
She also had doubts about a relationship surviving in Hollywood.
"It's hard to work in an industry that changes from minute to minute and then lock into thinking of something as forever," she said. "It's kind of daunting Maybe I just haven't met the right guy yet - that's the flip side,"
Meanwhile, Franco's big brother, James Franco, congratulated the couple over Instagram.
"Congrats Davy and Allison!!! Engaged!!! I WUUUUUV YOU," James wrote, along with a photo of the couple.
