There are so many Kevin Durant trade speculations around but are any of those true?
It is natural that the Oklahoma City Thunder star's name is being linked to several teams given his caliber and OKC's failure to win championships over the past seasons. However, these rumors should be at least close to reality.
According to earlier Kevin Durant trade rumors, the OKC forward will join Golden State Warriors, the 2015 NBA season champ.
This rumor reached the one-time MVP and he has one warning to fans. Kevin Durant told CBS Sports' Ken Berger during a Q&A segment with Team USA that people should not believe what is written on the internet unless it comes from him or his agent.
"Uh, just, I think we should ... you know what, I'm not even going to answer that," Kevin Durant said when asked about media coverage of free agency and the NBA.
"I'm not gonna answer that one. Along with Matty Ice [Thunder PR man Matt Tumbleson], I've got two people that I trust with my life, my agent and my manager, who's my best friend as well. I trust them with my life. So if you hear sources or anything, don't believe it if it didn't come from them. I tell them everything. We bounce ideas off each other. We collaborate on a lot of different things. They give me advice. so throughout this year, if you hear sources from anybody, it's not true, unless you hear it from Charlie Bell, Rich Kleiman or Kevin Durant."
The loudest Kevin Durant trade news is about Golden State although there are also rumors that his hometown's team Washington Wizards is also expected to make an offer for his services.
Tim Kawakami at Talking Points suggest Warriors can only get Kevin Durant via trade by letting go of Harrison Barnes and Klay Thompson.
Of course, Stephen Curry is untouchable given his performance in the past years. Other teams, on the other hand, can only wait for 2016 free agency.
