Chris Brown loves his daughter very much and he is going to show that fatherly love the best way any singer can - dedicate a whole album to her.
On Aug. 22, The R & B singer announced on Twitter that he was going to name his 7th album after his 1-year-old daughter, Royalty.
"MY NEW ALBUM WILL BE NAMED 'ROYALTY'," Brown simply wrote.
Brown, who is currently on his "One Hell of A Nite Tour" all over the world, has never been one to hide his unconditional love for his baby daughter. His latest post on Instagram shows the singer wearing a golden locket with Royalty's picture inside, which was a gift from a friend. "@princessxbreezy thank you so much for this wonderful gift. Won't take it off," Brown captioned the photo.
Another post shows Chris Brown fondly looking at his daughter while she appears to be laughing at someone else in the sidelines. The photo was captioned: "THE QUEEN!"
Chris Brown’s dedication to his daughter seem obvious to the world -- except Nia Guzman, Royalty’s mother.
Recently, Guzman has been complaining about the singer’s obsession with cars. According to a source, Guzman thinks Brown ought to spend more on their daughter than on expensive, luxury wheels.
“Nia just wants her daughter to be set for life and doesn't think she's being unrealistic in what she wants from him monetarily,” the source told Hollywood Life.
Guzman, who has been keeping Brown from talking to his daughter on Facetime while he’s on tour, also demanded $15,000 from Brown as monthly child support.
However, the singer refused to give in to Guzman’s demands. Guzman later on asked for $4,000 a week in child support.
Brown, who is reportedly tired of being Guzman’s “meal ticket,” filed for a 50/50 custody rights for the child, along with a paternity test.
“Some men my age run from their responsibilities as fathers. I embrace mine,” Brown tweeted of Guzman on Aug. 6. “Just sucks that some females use children as meal tickets.”
“Using a child as leverage is never ok,” the singer added.
