Many people were shocked when reports came out that Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green decided to end their relationship.
They've been together for 11 years and five years of that as husband and wife - and they have two children together.
"Megan has separated from Brian," a source told Us Weekly. "They decided on it six months ago."
Some people thought it was just a temporary thing, but new reports came out that the 29-year-old actress has finally filed for a divorce from her 42-year-old husband.
Megan's representative Laura Wasser told TMZ that her reason for their divorce is "irreconcilable differences" and has asked for joint physical and legal custody of their two sons Noah, 2, and Bodhi, 18 months.
Sources revealed that Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green had no prenuptial agreement so their earnings will be split into two.
"The likelihood is Megan will end up paying Brian spousal support, partly because of the disparity in income and partly because he's had medical problems," an insider said.
According to the website, they've been separated since June 15 but continue to live in the same house for the children's sake.
"Things have been rocky," a source told Us Weekly. "She's gone off and done her own thing recently."
Does that include seeing her "Transformers" co-star Shia LaBeouf?
There have been rumors coming out that Megan Fox has been rekindling her relationship with the 29-year-old actor.
Sources close to the actor revealed to Dish Nation that the two have started getting in touch more often ever since his public meltdown back in June 2014.
"Megan started speaking to Shia about a year ago when the two of them were going through troubled times," an insider revealed. "Shia was off the rails, boozing heavily, and leaned on Megan for support." According to the website, Brian Austin Green wasn't happy with his wife's friendship with her former fling. "Brian has always been wary of what Shia's capable of," their source said.
