You've seen her in countless teasers and trailers for AMC's "Fear the Walking Dead." Now, it's time you get acquainted with Los Angeles' Patient Zero, Gloria played by actress Lexi Johnson.

In an interview with ComicBook.com, Johnson revealed that she's a "giant fan" of "The Walking Dead" and shared how she got the part in the companion series.
"It's really surreal. It really hasn't hit me yet. I'm actually a giant fan of the original show. A couple of months before I landed the role of Gloria, I was just sitting there saying, 'How amazing would it just be to be one of the zombies on the show?' And then a couple of months later the opportunity came and I booked it!"
Auditioning as Gloria for "Fear the Walking Dead" wasn't like the usual process, Lexi Johnson revealed. Supposedly, all the girls were in full make-up and wardrobe and given cues by the casting directors to start acting like zombies.
"Violently rip your head back and forth like you're really tugging on the meat!" is what Adam Davidson apparently told the young actress what to do.
For Johnson though, getting in character "was almost like second nature."
Fans will first see Gloria in the very first episode of "Fear" where she's seen eating someone's face.
"Other than that, there aren't a ton of details available about the character," Tech Times said.
Reportedly, Johnson wanted audiences to meet Gloria before she turned and became the crucible for the viral outbreak that would bring the zombie apocalypse. But as Franchise Herald reported earlier this month, showrunner Dave Erickson said "Fear" won't reveal the exact cause of the outbreak.
Gloria may not stick around for the confusion and chaos caused by the first walkers in LA. The actresses' IMDB page said she'll only appear in the premiere of "TWD's" companion series.
"That unfortunately comes with the territory of being a patient zero," Tech Times said.
