Despite rampant girlfriend rumors, 5 Seconds of Summer band members, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin insist that they are single.
Hood is being linked to Jennifer Phipps while Irwin is to Bryana Holly.
In a previous interview with Movie News Guide about the band's pyrotechnic burn incident, Michael Clifford and Calum Hood clarified the girlfriend rumors.
"We all are [single] I believe," Michael Clifford announced.
Hood agreed saying, "We all carry the same flag."
Meanwhile, 5 Seconds of Summer drummer, Ashton Irwin also insisted that the band has no time for relationships due to their very busy schedules.
"I don't think we have time for girlfriends," Irwin said in May. "I mean, we like to see people, I guess, if we meet someone really nice and we hang out, but we're not in one spot very often."
Irwin's claim is very far from Hollywood Take's report saying that Ashton Irwin is romantically involved with Bryanna Holly.
"New photos show the rumored couple together in Los Angeles... While the new pictures don't show any PDA, the two were clearly enjoying each other's company. They were laughing and smiling as they walked down the West Hollywood street, surrounded by photographers," the publication reported.
Meanwhile, Kpopstarz reported that Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin's girlfriend rumors have been gravely affecting the 5 Seconds of Summer band.
"Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin have been causing strains in the band relationship with rumors that they are in relationship with Jennifer Phipps and Bryana Holly respectively."
