"How to Get Away with Murder" will return next month and will put a name and face to the killer of Rebecca Sutter (Katie Findlay).
The second season will basically be about resolving the events that transpired in the first season, including of course the biggest story of all, the murder of Sam.
Spoiler ahead!
While season 2 will spend a lot of episodes of about the past, the main characters will meet new problems about their personal lives outside of the university, particularly Connor (Jack Falahee).
Connor, the good-looking gay from the group of law students Annalies Keating (Viola Davis) teaches, will have his hands full come "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 premiere episode.
He does not only have to come up with statements that will keep him away from Sam's murder investigation, he also has to deal with HIV disease.
Series creator Peter Nowalk confirmed the sexually transmitted disease will bother Conrad and his partner Oliver (Conrad Ricamora). To better discuss it, the show turned to Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) for help.
More spoilers ahead!
"We're working with GLAAD on it; we also consult with lots of other people - we're making sure we're telling an honest, genuine story," Nowalk told the Hollywood Reporter.
"It's a story I'm very excited about because it isn't being told right now. There's a whole community of people who aren't represented on TV, and Shondaland is a place where everyone belongs. We'll continue to see more of Connor and Oliver - I won't say in what way - but it's a story we're excited to tell because it feels fresh and like something I want to see on TV. Conrad is still in a Broadway play on The King & I so he's not a series regular but we have ways to incorporate him into the show."
"How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 premiere date is on Sept. 24.
