Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Purported Image Leaked, Shows Adaptation Of OmniBalance Design

The upcoming Sony Xperia Z5 Compact's purported image leaked.

While IFA 2015 is nearing, leaks about the Sony Xperia Z5 series are becoming rampant.

Today, GSM Arena reported that the Sony Xperia Z5 appeared in promotional images obtained by a Dutch website, TechTastic.

Though the photo only revealed the back design of the alleged Sony Xperia Z5 compact, it is evident that Sony has continued its OmniBalance design to its Z series phones.

Previously, the Sony Xperia Z5 and its compact sibling leaked by ViziLeak revealing some of its physical features which include a finger-print scanner on the Xperia Z5.

Also, these series of leaked images confirmed that the Sony Xperia Z5 line-up will feature a micro-USB port instead of the rumored USB-Type C port.

Specs-wise, Mobi Picker reported that the Sony Xperia Z5 will be armed with a 5.5-inch display with 1,080 x 1,920 pixels screen resolution with a pixel density of 401 ppi, while under the hood will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC paired with 3 GB of RAM and a 32GB onboard storage, according to IB Times.

Additionally, the Sony Xperia Z5 will pack a 3,500mAh battery, and a 20.7 MP rear-facing sensor and an impressive 8 MP snapper.

Gospel Herald claimed that these two devices will run on Android Marshmallow straight out of the box.

Christian Today added that, aside from the Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact, a Plus variant is on the works too and rumored to be one of the first smartphones to feature 4K resolution. It may also feature "Trilluminos and the Precision Color Rendering proprietary technologies from Sony", VR-Zone reported.

In a recent report from GSM Arena, a leaked User Agent profile revealed that the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Plus are referred as Sony E6833, E6853, and E6883, respectively will be powered by a MSM8944 processor the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810.
