"Game Of Thrones" fans are still adamant that Kit Harington's Jon Snow character will come back for season six intact and very much alive despite his terrible end last April.
Theorists believe that he will possess his direwolf Ghost, much like how Bran Stark enters Summer's mind. Others think he is the promised savior, Ahor Azai, who will save Westeros from the White Walkers.
Furthermore, flying to Belfast, where filming for the sixth season is taking place, made followers of the show hope even more in his resurrection. On the other hand, recent set photos published by Watchers On The Wall, seem to indicate a funeral pyre filming.
Rumors and hopeful musings aside, John Bradley pretty much confirmed that his character, Samwell Tarly, already said goodbye to Kit Harington's Jon Snow, last season.
"It was sad for me even though I knew what was coming. In fact, it was kind of more sad because everything leading up to it has an extra degree of poignancy if you know what's going to happen... Jon and Sam's last scene together and Kit and my last scene together had a certain texture to it," he reportedly told People's Choice, implying that their characters won't be seeing each other again in the future.
On the other hand, Jeremy Podeswa, who's directing the first two episodes of season six, seemed to hint at something drastic happening when the show comes back next year.
"I have no comment whatsoever. I got nothing. I got nothing. Watch the show, it's gonna be great. That's all I can tell you ... I think it's the definition of a cliffhanger, you know, I think it's - where does the story go from here? I think the audience is dying to know, and uh, I think that's great," he reportedly told Gold Derby.
Whether this "cliffhanger" is about Kit Harington's Jon Snow character or not, fans will have to wait for its return on the small screen to know for sure.
