Supergirl/Kara Danvers goes face to face with aliens and monsters but there is someone the Kryptonian easily surrenders to, her boss in her daytime job.
Cat Grant is the terror boss of Supergirl whenever she's not wearing the cape and assumes a secretarial job. In the upcoming superhero show in CBS, Cat Grant will be played by Calista Flockhart. The "Supergirl" TV series cast said, Cat and Kara's relationship will not be ideal just like in the comics.
Cat Grant being overly self involved is her biggest flaw and according to Flockhart, this is the main reason why she has no clue that the Supergirl she adores is passing her by everyday in her office.
"Well, Cat might be guilty of being a bit of a narcissist, and she's very preoccupied with her business, and she has an assistant that is named Kara," the "Supergirl" TV series cast said in an interview with Comic Book Resources.
"That's what that relationship is at the moment, but I think as the series goes on, [I'm] hoping that we're going to discover more. I think Cat is going to become more and more aware of Kara [Care-ah] and start calling her Kara [Car-ah]. I think that there will be a relationship. I think that she'll become a bit of a mentor."
This strained relationship might not last long though as there is someone that might connect Kara and Grant. "Pan" actor Levi Miller has joined "Supergirl" TV series cast as the son of Cat Grant.
According to spoilers, Miller's character is someone who is as cruel as the CatCo founder but it will change once he meets Superman's cousins.
"Miller is set to make his Supergirl debut in Episode 4. Per the official character description, 12-year-old Carter is 'sensitive and shy' and 'couldn't be more different from his mom.' As Melissa Benoist's Kara babysits her boss's son and gets to know him better, 'Carter finally opens up to her - revealing his true feelings for Supergirl.'"
"Supergirl" TV series premiere is on Oct. 26.
