Are Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber going to be reunited on "The Voice" Season 9?
Now that Selena Gomez has already been confirmed as the advisor for Gwen Stefani's team, rumors are still saying that Justin Bieber might jump in. How awkward is it going to be?
"Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are never getting back together - but NBC might be forcing them to publicly reunite on 'The Voice' this fall. Selena Gomez is on fire, 2015 is definitely her year," Celeb Dirty Laundry said in its recent report.
While all the coaches' slots have already been filled by a mentor for each - Selena Gomez for Gwen Stefani, John Fogerty for Adam Levine, Brad Paisley for Blake Shelton; Team Pharrell is still empty of a mentor but Missy Elliot was also rumored to join the show - Rihanna is hopping in as an integral host and adviser to all judges, E! Online reported.
That leaves some opportunities for Selena Gomez's ex-beau Justin Bieber to still be part of "The Voice" Season 9.
Celeb Dirty Laundry cited the rumor mill saying that "Justin Bieber is actually supposed to be appearing on 'The Voice' this fall too."
Having said this, the report noted that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber's three years of togetherness is now over, emphasizing that there is "definitely some bad blood between the two exes."
The report thinks that if Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber will be together on the singing competition, it will be a good publicity move by NBC but "painfully awkward" for the two artists.
More heartbreak for Justin Bieber?
Aside from the diss songs, Selena Gomez recently admitted her "love" for ex-One Direction member Zayn Malik, according to a report on teen celebrity magazine J-14.
"I know Zayn so it's almost like if he would ever want to reach out, he knows that he could," Gomez said in the report. "So I don't know what he's doing creatively."
She added, "I think that's so exciting for him to go and figure out what he wants to do, but I don't know what that is. I think it'll be pretty exciting but, yes, I love him, he's awesome!"
