Superman will not be there to fly with Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) in the upcoming CBS superhero show but Peter Pan is there, at the least the actor playing him.
TV Line reported that Levi Miller, the lead character in upcoming film "Pan" which also stars Hugh Jackman, has joined "Supergirl" TV series cast.
"After taking a trip to Neverland this October, Pan star Levi Miller will make a beeline for National City. The young actor - who plays the title role in this fall's big-screen Peter Pan origin story - has been cast in CBS' Supergirl as Carter Grant, the son of Calista Flockhart's Cat Grant, TVLine has learned exclusively."
The new "Supergirl" TV series cast member will play big role in the relationship of Kara and her terror boss. TV Line wrote Miller's character is as tough as his mother but that will change with once he interacts with Supergirl.
"Miller is set to make his Supergirl debut in Episode 4. Per the official character description, 12-year-old Carter is "sensitive and shy" and "couldn't be more different from his mom." As Melissa Benoist's Kara babysits her boss's son and gets to know him better, "Carter finally opens up to her - revealing his true feelings for Supergirl.""
Miller joining "Supergirl" TV series cast also reunites him with executive producer Greg Berlanti who he worked with "Pan." Berlanti has nothing but nice words for the young actor.
"We loved working with him so much on Pan, we were excited to bring him into Supergirl's universe," said Berlanti and his fellow Supergirl producers in a joint statement to TVLine.
"He's an exceptional young actor and a part of the Berlanti Productions family. It will be fun for audiences, who we know will fall in love with him as Peter in Pan on Oct 9, to see his range with his turn as Calista Flockhart's American son."
"Supergirl" TV series cast is also headed by Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, and Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers.
