Are Michael Fassbender and girlfriend Alicia Vikander having problems with their relationship because of their career choice?
While the couple has been public with its relationship, new reports suggest that Fassbender and his 26-year-old Swedish girlfriend are too busy to even be with each other.
The rumors sparked when Vikander reportedly chose to star in the upcoming "Bourne" sequel featuring the return of Matt Damon instead of "Assassin's Creed" movie, which will star her boyfriend, Michael Fassbender.
"Alicia Vikander has now been set to star in the next instalment of the Jason Bourne saga opposite Matt Damon, Deadline can confirmed. "She will not, however, be starring in Justin Kurzel's Assassins Creed pic opposite Michael Fassbender."
In an interview with Belfast Telegraph, Alicia Vikander said that becoming busy with her work has made her become "less lonely," while she adjusts living in the U.S.
"I've been trying to do good work in a language that isn't my own. I guess that does make me determined, but it's in my nature to want to do the best that I can. It also makes me feel safe, in a funny way, if I'm working hard; less lonely, somehow."
Adding, "I suffer from a constant anxiety that what's happening to me isn't going to last forever," she sighed.
