Game developer Atlus confirmed "Persona 5" release and will be made available for PS3 and PS4 console.
After speculations that "Persona 5" will be available in 2016, Atlus USA PR manager John Hardin, finally revealed the game's release and some of its details in an interview with God Is A Geek, Shacknews reported.
"That's just completely wrong. A lot of people assume that this is correct because they published something back in what, 2008? It just isn't true. I'm working on getting those incorrect listing removed," John Hardin said.
"The only thing I can confirm for Persona 5 is 2015."
Though there was no exact date announced, fans speculate that "Persona 5" for the PS4 and PS3 consoles might get a December release in North America after it goes official in Japan.
This theory arises from the game's expected debut at D23 Expo in Japan on November 6 to 8, Crossmap reported.
In his interview, John Hardin also hinted that the Europe might get the game a little bit later than its North American release.
"We are trying to get publishers locked in for our titles in EU and will announce things when they are locked in. We don't want another Shin Megami Tensei IV or Devil Survivor Overclocked situation. We are very aware of what happens when we make premature announcements for Europe. At least I am."
A couple of months ago, ahead of "Persona 5" release announcement its first game trailer was revealed during the Persona Super Live 2015 to assure fans that the game's development is in progress and will be arriving to PS4 and PS3 consoles, Ecumenical News added.
"I feel that in today's world, there's no shortage of people that are bored and discontent with their lives. Persona is about freedom, the kind that those sorts of people haven't had living in the real world. I want [players] to be able to attain that sensation by playing through the game... I'd say that the image depicts the wait that must be endured for that moment of freedom to arrive," Hashino said.
