As of press time, Disney has not officially made an announcement on "The Incredibles" release date.
Why is it taking too long?
The report said the delay is due to Brad Bird wanting to present "a worthwhile successor to the original." He also reportedly said he wants to create an unforgettable story driven by characters for "The Incredibles 2."

"[Brad Bird] has found a really great story. We're just starting to develop it; he's come back now after 'Tomorrowland.' We're really excited about it, but I can't say much more about that," John Lasseter of Pixar told Inquisitr.
