Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi might have just shaken off rumors that they are headed for divorce when she dedicated her "Teen Choice" award to De Rossi last Sunday night.
In the report on Entertainment Tonight, the talk show host was hailed Choice Comedian during the "Teen Choice Awards" at the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles. Ellen DeGeneres also found the event as perfect time for her to thank Portia De Rossi in her speech.
"What an amazing day this is. This is my seven-year wedding anniversary, so happy anniversary," Ellen DeGeneres said, looking at Portia De Rossi. "It's yours, too."
The two were also seen kissing during the event, Daily Mail UK reported.
Apart from Ellen DeGeneres' speech dedicated to Portia De Rossi, she also reportedly took the moment to send a message to teenagers who might be in a "rough time right now."
"It feels good to be chosen, but there was a time in my life where I was not chosen," the talk show host explained. "I was the opposite of chosen because I was different."
She further said that the youth should embrace who they are and fitting "is not really all that matters."
"You should be proud of being different. You should be proud of who you are," Ellen DeGeneres said.
Ellen, Portia now living apart?
Despite the sweet message of Ellen DeGeneres to Portia De Rossi, there were reports that said the couple are already living separately now.
Movie News Guide cited a source saying, "Ellen ended up leaving and is staying in a condo in Beverly Hills, Portia is living in her estate in LA."
The report further added that Ellen DeGeneres is prioritizing her eye plastic surgery more than appearing on therapy sessions with Portia De Rossi.
