Ever since Rebekah Mikaelson chose to return to her new witch body, fans have been anticipating future episodes that might bring Claire Holt back to "The Originals" season 3.
Followers don't have to fret, however. The beloved actress will reportedly be coming back this Fall, according to TV Guide. Will she be staying for good?
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be for the long-run.
According to executive producer Michael Narducci, the Australian actress will be coming back for a flashback together with Nathaniel Buzolic, who plays the real Kol, and Casper Zafer, who plays the real Finn.
"[It's] a flashback that we've never seen before," TV Guide quoted the showrunner as revealing about the scene. "We've always understood that the Mikaelson family, the brothers and sister, had to flee in the wake of Esther's death by Klaus' hands. Klaus blamed Mikael and said, 'We have to go. Our father is insane,' and for a very long time Mikael chased them."
Viewers might just see a little family reunion in an episode next season, as well.
"So wouldn't it be cool to see the family not long after that?" the EP added. "What was their state of mind? What were their relationships like? How did they relate to one another knowing Mikael was out there somewhere, and they're relatively new vampires so what was their existence like? I think it might be surprising and interesting."
Meanwhile, Casper Zafer, Nathaniel Buzolic and Claire Holt won't be only ones appearing in "The Originals" season 3. International Business Times noted that the new villain visiting (or, more likely, creating havoc in) New Orleans might be "even more frightening than Finn, Mikael or Dahlia."
"I think when we are finally able to reveal what's happening, it should make a lot of sense and feel like the next stage in what this family will need to go through and deal with. It's pretty frightening and we're having a lot of fun with it," Narducci previously told Entertainment Weekly.
Moreover, Joseph Morgan, who plays Klaus, recently uploaded behind-the-scenes photos of what looked like a bloody scene on Instagram.
