How sweet it was for Drake to make an effort to be present and watch another Serena Williams game whose rumored boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou might take as an opportunity for the tennis star to play even better.
Rapper Drake watched Serena Williams, coached by rumored boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou, during her game against Roberta Vinci in the quarterfinals of the Rogers Cup, SB Nation reported.
"Drake went along to support Williams as she faced Roberta Vinci in the Rogers Cup quarter final and who got the prestigious seat next to him? His Momma!"
The report added that Drake is also a "really good" tennis player as he started playing the sport back when he was young. Should Drake also avail of Serena Williams' rumored boyfriend's coaching services?
Before her game against Vinci, Serena Williams also played with Andrea Petkovic in straight sets and "broke the No. 16-seeded Petkovic three times en route to a 6-3, 6-2 victory in just 62 minutes," the report on WTA Tennis said.
After this game, Serena Williams believe there is still a lot of improvement to do.
"I still think I have a tremendous amount of improvement to do off the ground and everywhere else, though," she shared in the report. "I just felt off. Just gotta be more positive out there again. I just felt a little negative."
Franchise Herald previously reported Serena Williams' boyfriend-coach Patrick Mouratoglou predicting that the tennis star "is going to experience some stress going back to Wimbledon."
With her statements after the match with Petkovic, it seems that the coach is somewhat right.
"Well, I think she'll have a bit of stress going back to Wimbledon, as she did at the French Open," the coach said in the report. "She had a lot of stress. So I think I will be the same thing again, but she'll get past it."
