While the question still remains, it seems like "Expendables 4" is pushing forward and it would feature a legendary WWE wrestler.
According to Wrestling Inc.(via Uproxx), Hulk Hogan is the next villain to the upcoming action-adventure franchise by Sylvester Stallone.
"Was talking on the phone with Sly [Stallone] about doing The Expendables 4," Hogan revealed.
"We're trying to figure out a way to maybe turn me into the most evil man in the world. Y'know, Stallone gave me my first break and he's been a great friend for all these years ... We had a great conversation, talking about the possibilities. Can I still run, can I still jump? Well, not as fast or not as high, but I think Hollywood could find a good stunt man to help me out."
While Sly has yet to confirm the sequel, Jason Statham in addition to Hulk Hogan, who plays Lee Christmas since the first installment "The Expendables," has already expressed his interest in returning to the fourth film.
"Working with Sylvester Stallone is beyond a pinch yourself moment," the 47-year-old British actor said of his co-star in an interview with IGN.
If things go as plan, fans could perhaps witness Hulk Hogan as a bad guy in "Expendables 4."
"I remember growing up watching his films. And to be directed by him and to be in a movie that he's produced and to be shoulder to shoulder with Sly is a privilege any man who loves action movies would never turn their nose up at. I mean, it's terrific. I'll do as many as he wants."
Arnold Schwarzenegger seems to fell the same way as he apparently tries to convince his good friend Sly to pursue with "Expendables 4" despite its lackluster third film. who's been working with Sylvester Stallone for the franchise, has been trying to convince his good friend to push through with the project despite the mishap with "Expendables 3."
"I just think it's a terrific franchise," he said in an interview with USA Today. "I told Sly to write another one or have someone else write another one. A really terrific story. Because I think it's a great idea to have an ensemble piece with that many action heroes in a movie. Especially if the comedy is really done well. It could be a great story. There's definitely room for another one."
