After revealing that the sequel is in the works, Vin Diesel's enemy in "Fast & Furious 7," Deckard Shaw will reportedly return for 8 to continue what they've started.
"We're already talking about doing another one, part eight," Statham told Access Hollywood. "I'm a newcomer. I just got invited to the party in this last one, so it's nice to know I'm going to be doing another."
And together with Jason Statham, a well-loved character is rumored to be returning to "Fas & Furious 7" sequel as well.
Eva Mendes, who played the role of secret agent Monica Fuentes in "2 Fast 2 Furious" is said to be coming back for the 8th installment.
Mendes' character was once Paul Walker's love interest in the movie. However, with Brian O'Conner not returning to the team, Monica Fuentas will reportedly now return to "stir up" Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and Dominic (Vin Diesel) relationship, Breathecast reported.
And while Eva Mendes has yet to confirm or deny her involvement in the sequel, Cody Walker, Paul Walker's brother, is reportedly very much willing to get involved again.
"I'm not sure if they are going to make an eighth movie, but if they did, I'm sure he would entertain a conversation (about a role)," he told NYDailyNews according to Enstarz.
Meanwhile, producer Neal Moritz said that the sequel to "Fast & Furious 7" will be the start of a new trilogy as the franchise shift from a car chasing adventure to spy-themed movie.
