Benedict Cumerberbatch's "Hamlet" performance recently encountered some technical problems which reportedly frustrated the actor enough for him to go out and talk to the crowd gathered at the Barbican Theater.
Maintaining his manners, he pleaded with fans not to film him during the performances and warned them that they will be pulled out from the theater should they be caught illegally filming.
He wasn't the only actor who defended theater etiquette.
According to Daily Mail, "X-Men" star James McAvoy scolded an audience member he caught filming during his performance for "Macbeth" at Trafalgar Studios.
Kevin Spacey also snapped at an audience member whose phone kept on ringing at the Old Vic theater.
Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman, The Independent reported, kept their character as they scolded a viewer because of a ringing phone.
Dame Helen Mirren, in complete costume, walked out of the West End's Gielgud Theatre to scold a group of street drummers making a racket outside the venue.
