Producers and directors for "Supernatural" have often stressed on Dean and Sam Winchester's sibling connection on screen as the secret to the show's longevity.
However, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki's bromance isn't just palpable on camera. The two actors are actually very close friends behind the lens.
Popsugar came to that conclusion after browsing through the pair's many photos together.
They have been dorks, fathers, and brothers together. They even have family outings together during the short breaks they have in between filming for "Supernatural."
Their friendship became even more pronounced when Ackles created a Twitter account. They have since been sharing set photos as well as private snaps of their lives behind the scenes.
Perhaps the biggest test to their non-blood brotherhood was Padalecki's battle with clinical depression. The actor shared his ongoing battle with the affliction earlier this month and Ackles publicly told him that he would be giving him all the support he needs.
"[Get] some rest, my brother. I got ur back...Always," he told his honorary brother on Twitter after the latter's public plea for love and support.
