Disney isn't just hiding hidden Mickeys in their films. Apparently, there are also secret theories between certain movies as well - and it involves beloved characters Tarzan, Elsa and Anna!
Director Chris Buck, who helmed some of the studio's most beloved films, recently confirmed that "Frozen" and "Tarzan" are connected to each other in a huge way.
According to the story, Elsa and Anna became orphans when their parents, the King and Queen of Arendall, died at sea. However, Buck was said to have surprised everyone last year when he revealed that they did not actually perish in that shipwreck!
The Queen was actually pregnant at the time of the voyage and was washed up on a shore of a jungle. Together with their "baby boy," the couple built "a treehouse" in the jungle before getting "eaten by a leopard."
According to MTV News, the story sounds familiar because it's the prologue to another of Buck's famous animated films, "Tarzan."
"I said, 'Of course Anna and Elsa's parents didn't die,'" he added to the entertainment site. "Yes, there was a shipwreck, but they were at sea a little bit longer than we think they were, because the mother was pregnant, and she gave birth on the boat, to a little boy."
He continued that the boy, after his parents get mauled by a leopard, was "raised by gorillas."
"So in my little head, Anna and Elsa's brother is Tarzan," he insisted, quickly adding that, "on the other side of that island are surfing penguins, to tie in a non-Disney movie, 'Surf's Up.' That's my fun little world."
Furthermore, CNN reported that co-director and screenwriter Jennifer Lee reiterated up Buck's idea that Tarzan, Elsa and Anna are siblings in a recent Reddit AMA.
"When you're working on a feature, you have a lot of time to think about stuff because it takes four years to make one," Buck continued to tell MTV. "I think Jen [Lee] and I were walking to a meeting, and I just start to tell her the entire story."
He might not have completely confirmed this theory, it somehow made fans believe in it. In fact, this isn't the only theory surrounding Tarzan, Elsa and Anna's supposed parents.
According to CNN, they were supposed on their way to "Tangled" characters Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder's wedding. Another theory allegedly stated that their ruined boat was the shipwreck that Ariel explored in "The Little Mermaid."
