Director Brian Singer recently confirmed a "X-Men Apocalypse" fight club scene on Instagram. The shot also verified that Ben Hardy, who plays Angel, will be in that particular sequence.
The helmer uploaded a behind-the-scenes shot of Hardy in the ring, with the caption, "#eastberlin #1982 #fightclub #benhardy #angel #xmen #xmenapocalypse."
Based on the hashtags given, Cinemablend reported that "Apocalypse" might find Angel in Berlin and eventually persuade him into becoming one of his horsemen.
Geeks Of Doom further reported that a concept art of the said scene was previously released as well. Hardy also confirmed that Angel will have "serious badass wings" in the upcoming film.
If the concept art is to be trusted, then the said wings will be spread out during the "X-Men Apocalypse" fight club scene.
Hardy also posted a photo of himself being taught how to fly on Twitter. After all, he'll do a lot of that in the film.
However, according to the site, early concept art revealed him to don mechanical wings, turning Angel into the Archangel in the comics.
He will reportedly become the "mind controlled Horseman of Apocalypse, who had his stripped wings replaced with metal ones."
During the San Diego Comic Con, Singer revealed that the latest instalment will take place 10 years after "Days Of Future Past," when humans have finally accepted mutants because of what Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) did. However, other places will reportedly be not as welcoming.
Michael Fassbender, who plays Magneto, is said to be giving up his evil ways. Then again, Apocalypse might just draw him into the dark side once again.
Now fans would definitely love to see Fassbender as Magneto in that "X-Men Apocalypse" fight club scene.
Hardy, Lawrence and Fassbender will be joined by James McAvoy, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Olivia Munn, Evan Peters, Rose Byrne, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Lucas Till, Tye Sheridan, Josh Helman and Lana Condor.
